INTRODUCTION

Priests played an extremely important role in Ancient Egyptian society because religion was one of the key parts of culture and lifestyle. Priests were the loyal protectors and the servants of the gods and took care of their every need. The Ancient Egyptian priests were quite different from the ones we know today; it is quite amazing how the role differentiated depending on the time period and culture of the society! The priests all the way back then did not even say mass or try and share religious tales!
